The Law Office of Katherine Skubecz successfully opposed Defendants’ Motion for Summary Judgment in Suffolk Superior Court on the issue of whether Plaintiff was misclassified as an independent contractor by a startup company. The Court held that whether Plaintiff was an employee, as well as whether he engaged in protected conduct for the purposes of Wage Act retaliation (§ 148A), is a question of fact.
